Vernon Hyundai was my last stop and I was losing hope. Evan Jones introduced himself and I immediately knew his great attitude and knowledge were what I was looking for.
Two weeks later I went back to Evan and he got me exactly what I wanted. He was friendly, listened to what I wanted, and found the perfect Elantra for me.
The car itself has exceeded my expectations. It's fun to drive, amazing on gas, and it looks nice too.
I will be recommending Evan and Vernon Hyundai to all of my friends when they are looking for a new car.
The whole process was hassle free and Justin, Callie, and the rest of the staff worked within my budget to get me exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience and I love love love my Santa Fe! You guys rock!
SO... a huge thank you to Justin, Nathan, Josh and Callie for making my day(s)!! Kind of a belated birthday present....
And FYI I LOVE the color!!!!!!!!!!
it was very refreshing to meet and deal with Justin Coulter / our Sales
Associate at Vernon Hyundai. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and wasn't pushy at all.
We found a happy medium on the price to suit us both and that was that.
Very easy to deal with....NEXT....on to Financial Services Manager / Josh
Mooney who handled all the paperwork at record speed with great efficiency and also seemed like a very nice guy....NEXT....walked into the office next door where they had conveniently summoned an insurance agent from a nearby office to COME TO US / Melissa Skelton / from Johnston Meier Insurance who I just loved...very fun and personable who had brought us a selection of license plate numbers to chose from for our new vehicle....NEXT....quick run to the bank....NEXT....quick run back and a few signatures later....VOILA !!! We were NOW the proud owners. Anyway, SEAMLESS AND FASTEST DEAL EVER !!! No running back and forth and back and forth AND back and forth to the Manager every second and waiting and waiting...JUST VERY EFFICIENT. Most satisfactory car buying experience we personally have ever had and believe me we've had a few. When we left and got into the vehicle I wished I had asked someone to connect my iphone for me and just then Justin came out and asked us if we wanted him to do it for us. Well, he did it in the span of about a New York minute and we were off. AWESOME SERVICE !!! We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone for hassle-free shopping.

I was looking for that 'great used car' that comes along every once in awhile and being that I live out of town I was reliant on Tanner to provide me with accurate and detailed information over the telephone and by way of email. Tanner was more than willing to work with me to find the price that worked for us both and Tanner and Jesse were both so cooperative and patient in answering my many phonecalls and questions.
The car is fantastic and is everything promised! - Post-Sale we had a few details to be ironed out and I was really impressed that the dealership worked with me to reach an amicably fair agreement.
I have dealt with high pressure and mis-leading car salesman and dealerships all my life - I had no idea there was such a thing as a 'great dealership'.
The environment at Vernon Hyundai is exciting, transparent and enthusiastic. I am so happy I had the opportunity to deal with Vernon Hyundai and I would definitely recommend this dealership for new or used autos to everyone! So refreshing ! - Heather G. Kamloops

It was the easiest vehicle deal I ever made. I spoke with Jessy, told him exactly what I wanted and what I expected to pay. I had done my homework. He phoned me when he found something, I went in to Vernon Hyundai, checked out the vehicle, agreed on a price and bought it. It's a great little SUV that's been maintained by Vernon Hyundai since new and I'm going in next week to get my first oil change and have my winter tires installed. I would definitely go back and deal with Jessy again.
The 411 on Regular Vehicle MaintenancePosted On May 8, 2017
Sunshine and warmer temperatures have arrived, so pursuits like camping and long weekend get-aways can’t be far behind? Be prepared for all your driving adventures with a vehicle that’s regularly maintained. (Nothing will ruin your plans more than a breakdown/issue en route to your destination – especially if it’s a remote one!)
Whether you purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle, it’s crucial to keep scheduled service appointments. Regular care and maintenance cost a lot less than major engine repair, a tow truck and more. To assure your vehicle runs reliably, at peak efficiency and has a long happy life, here are some regular actions to consider:
Oil and filter changes are an essential component of responsible car care. Your engine is one of the most valuable (aka expensive) parts of your vehicle and demands clean oil running through it for top performance. Proper lubrication reduces wear and friction, carries heat away from other fundamental parts and allows your engine to run at cooler levels. Oil changes also help prevent rust and corrosion while providing a smooth running and quieter engine. Replacing the oil filter further removes impurities and contaminants from your engine.
Such impurities build-up over time, which is why manufacturers and technicians typically recommend changing your filter at each oil change appointment.
INSPECT YOUR TIRES
Just think: the entire weight of your vehicle is supported by four individual tires. Road wear and debris inevitably take a toll and tires eventually lose tread and/or pressure, increasing accident risks. Think safety. Check your tires. Does your vehicle have the right tires for the season? Remember, once spring driving arrives, it’s time to change from winter tires to summer/all season versions. Regular tire-checks allow your service department to assess tire wear and issues such as low pressure, which can affect your vehicle’s ability to stop.
Low tire pressure can also change the shape of your tires – they are ‘flatter’ to the ground – causing them to wear prematurely. Tire pressure that’s too high makes your tires rigid and ‘disconnected’ from the road and can have an equally damaging effect. Ensuring optimal air pressure will give you a smoother and safer ride while greatly extending tire life and increasing fuel economy.
Finally, each of your vehicle’s tires wear at different rates, depending on the vehicle drive-train. Rotating tires as recommended by your owner’s manual is just one more effective precaution.
Slowing down and coming to a complete stop is an essential safe driving practice. Today’s vehicles have programs and features that help signal wear, but it’s still crucial to have a technician thoroughly check your brakes and identify any necessary repairs.
An annual visit to your service department for a brake inspection will determine the condition of the hydraulic system and all operating hardware – essential to maintaining ‘healthy’ brakes. Parts like rotors, pads, and shoes endure constant wear (friction occurs every time you apply your brakes) and therefore require regular monitoring.
In addition to these fundamental services, you can also ensure safe driving by asking your technician to inspect the following:
– Wiper blades – replace if worn
– Coolant levels – keep filled to prevent engine wear
– Battery – they typically last 3-5 years
– Spark plugs – replace old ones
If these key vehicle parts are checked regularly and maintained properly, your vehicle will provide peace-of-mind driving and you’ll be ready for all the driving adventures ahead. Have fun. Take the scenic route … and enjoy the ride!
