Steve has been Vernon Hyundai’s Shop Foreman for 3 years, bringing experience, leadership, and a sense of humour to the team. His journey into the automotive industry began 12 years ago after a moment many car owners can relate to—being stranded on a North Albertan highway with car trouble. Just six months later, he started his apprenticeship, and the rest is history.
At Vernon Hyundai, Steve enjoys the little things that make the workplace special—the upstairs gym, good coffee, and great people. Outside of work, you’ll find him mountain biking or relaxing at the beach.
If he could pick any Hyundai for the perfect family road trip, it would be the Palisade, big enough for all his kids, with the dream destination being a drive to the East Coast of Canada. Locally, his go-to spot is La Carraia Gelateria Cafe for a sweet treat.
If Steve weren’t in the car industry, he imagines he’d be a physiotherapist. A fun fact? Though he claims to be 5'8", the truth is he’s 5'7 ¾". His advice for first-time Hyundai buyers is simple and wise: pick the car your wife likes.
